GIRLS NIGHT AT THE POINT

There is nothing I enjoy more than a chilled bottle of wine, a great assortment of cheeses, a crispy thin pizza & some fabulous company to share it with. This past Saturday my sister from another mister, Alexa, came up for a visit! We headed out to The Point for dinner to indulge in some much needed girl time and to catch up on each others lives.

We started with the most important thing first. A chilled bottle of Chardonnay.

And then on to a glorious selection of goodies!

Oh Cheesus, was I excited about this!

I have to give it to The Point, their cheese plate was fabulous.
We enjoyed a Horseradish Chevre, Rosemary & Olive Oil Asiago, Kunik, & a Bellavitano Merlot.

The cheeses was accompanied by a chicken pate, which I loved, some fruit, and artichokes with roasted peppers, and garlic.

We split their house salad with creamy gorgonzola dressing.

We were a little over excited about The Point's menu options and ordered a pizza in addition to the cheese plate and salad. When it finally arrived Alexa and I were stuffed, but we both managed to find the space in our bellies to give the pizza a taste.

The pizza was grilled, giving it nice texture and flavor, and I really enjoyed the shaved brussels sprouts when accompanied by the onion, pancetta, roasted garlic and mozzarella cheese. I think the drizzle of balsamic glaze really brought the entire pizza together.

There was no room left for dessert or else I would have ordered their Starlight Sundae.

Have you been to The Point before? If not, you can check out their menu here & make a reservation for yourself tonight here!
