I love weekends where I get to spend time working on projects around the house and playing chef while making delicious treats for M and I to share. This weekend was a great combination of both work and play. M and I spent a relaxing Friday night in and ordered a bunch of sushi from my favorite sushi restaurant in Albany, Ruby Asian Bistro (check out a past visit here).

Fully rested from my low key Friday night I spent all day Saturday cleaning & organizing the house. It felt good going through closets and throwing out a bunch of stuff that wasn't essential. It's insane how much stuff I can accumulate in just a short period of time! Once I was happy with my progress I took a break and spent the rest of Saturday night indulging in some girl time with some wine and cheese.

On Sunday I decided to spoil M and myself with a delightful brunch. I prepared a meal with a few of my all time favorite breakfast items: bagels, bacon, eggs, and of course a Bloody Mary (made with Coal Yard).

The rest of Sunday was spent furniture shopping, painting our living room and celebrating a birthday!

My weekend was pretty fantastic! What were all of you up to?!
