A couple weeks ago I received an e-mail with an invitation to enjoy some of The Cheese Traveler's menu items; grilled cheese sammies and soup! You all know me by now, so this was a no brainer. YES! I'd love to try some melted, ooey gooey cheese on deliciously fresh & local bread!
Anywho, I just got back and while I am writing this post I am in the middle of eating some of the stinky wine washed blue cheese and Puckers Pickles I brought home with me. Just so you know, these pickles are addictive, so go there and pick some up..now!

HOMEMADE SUSHI ROLLS
If you follow me on Instagram then you'll know I gave homemade sushi making a go recently. I invited Alexa over to experiment with me and I am happy to say it was a great success!
I wanted to keep my fist attempt simple, so I decided to make Philadelphia rolls and California rolls.

SOFT BOILED EGGS
The Capital Region was a snowy wonderland yesterday and seeing as how I am petrified of driving in the snow I was not up for making the trek into work. So I called in, curled back under the duvet and fell back asleep until my belly started grumbling.
I came across Rosie's breakfast while skimming Instagram before getting out of bed and decided I'd make myself a pair of soft boiled eggs for breakie.

BONEFISH GRILL'S ENDLESS BUBBLES BRUNCH
Remember when I went to the Media Dinner at The Bonefish Grill a few months back? Well, I remembered reading about their Endless Bubbles Brunch and have been dying to give it a go ever since. I convinced M to drive out to Wolf Road with me two weeks ago and I'm happy to say I'm in love! It's the perfect place to go with your girlfriends, that special person in your life, or your entire family. My recent visit was to catch up with some of my favorite ladies and gossip about life, boys, and most importantly - food!

SIMPLE SEARED SEA SCALLOPS
I have loved seafood for as long as I can remember. There's a childhood story my family loves to share about me eating an entire tray of shrimp cocktail (with the help of Caitlyn) in a random holiday power outage. I'll spare all of you the embarrassing details and sum it up by saying I could eat seafood every day of my life... and that you're truly missing out if you don't like.
Caitlyn came up for a visit last week and rather than going out to eat we decided to stay in and enjoy a few of our favorite dishes. Caitlyn had the wonderful idea to make some bacon seared sea scallops for a scrumptious appetizer. To make some of these for yourself you'll need:
-6 large sea scallops (3 per person as an appetizer or 6 for an entree)
- salt and pepper to taste
-2 tablespoons of bacon fat
