As much as I love my eggs and bacon for breakfast in the morning I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and incorporate more fruit and veggies into my morning routine. I am in no way a morning person and could probably sleep until noon every day if it didn't make me feel so guilty. That being said caffeine is my friend, however, I am also trying to cut back on my coffee intake. So, I decided to whip up this Strawberry & Green Tea Smoothie to start my Thursday off right.

This is amazing and I highly suggest you stop whatever you're doing right now and whip up one of these bad boys for yourself! All you need is:

- 1 cup iced green tea
- 1 large handful frozen strawberries (about 1 cup)
- 2-3 fresh strawberries
- 6 mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon honey

Just add it all to your blender and blitz it until you've reached a consistency you're happy with.

Now for some fun facts:

Green tea is super healthy, it's loaded with antioxidants that help prevent aging and other diseases, as well as helps to improve brain function, memory, and reaction time.

Mint is wonderful for healthy digestion, it aids in relieving headaches, and is a natural stimulate that can help fight fatigue and depression. Not to mention it leaves your  breathy minty fresh!

Strawberries are great too. They're low in calories and high in fiber (roughly 54 calories for 1 cup of strawberries) and they're great for burning stored fat - which is a total plus!

Honey is also a power food, not only does it prevent cancer and heart disease, but it's also has anti-bacterial properties.

So there you have it - not only does this taste absolutely incredible, but it's also extremely healthy for you!

Let me know what you think of this smoothie if you make it for yourself!
